From a Dirt Backyard to a Space
That Finally Feels Like Home

This homeowner started with a blank yard and a clear idea of how they wanted to use the space. After speaking with four other contractors, they chose Rising Tide because the process felt straightforward and collaborative. Everything was confirmed before signing, which helped avoid change orders and kept the experience calm and predictable.

We designed and built a layout centered around a modern pergola, an outdoor kitchen with bar seating, and a comfortable media wall. Two turf areas were added—one for the family and one designed specifically for the dog. Travertine and pavers created a clean, durable foundation that fits the neighborhood. The lighting, planting, and mounding were some of the most appreciated details because they helped the yard feel complete rather than pieced together.

What began as a dusty lot became a welcoming space for cooking, lounging, and entertaining. The client shared a five-star review, and the project became one of six Rising Tide builds completed in this neighborhood.
